Just got back from Baltimore after an amazing weekend and the Comic Convention. I've been doing artist alley at conventions since 2004, and this was hands down the best year I've ever had at a convention. Between record sales and the people I might, it really made me feel good about myself as an artists. To hear comic fans tell me that I was the first person they had to see when they got to the show yesterday was just the most flattering thing anyone's every said to me at a convention, and I honestly never thought I'd get to that point. Happy to be back in a good rhythm, far as my drawing's concerned. I'm getting stuff prepped for Wizard World Philly at the end of the month, and I'm actually looking forward to being back at Artist Alley. I haven't done AA the show since '08, so it's definitely been a while. Just making sure I've got everything I need well in advance. Gonna have a lotta new stuff (although some of it is old to me, it's just that I'm only getting around to coloring it it stuff now!). Need to go ahead and send the file for my table banner this week. The printer's in New York, so I'd like to think it would take too long to get it done and sent to me in time for

Yeah, so I ended up bullshittin' for another year or three after my declaration to get back into drawing. This time around, I kinda have no choice. I'll be doing Philly Con in June, and I've already started a few art projects I've had on the back burner for a good long while. It might not all be pencil art, but it'll be art from yours truly, nonetheless.
